About

I grew up in a small college town in Southeastern Idaho. In high school, I had a passion for science and photography classes as well as playing on the varsity tennis team. After high school, I attended Brigham Young University – Idaho where I studied geology with an emphasis in structural geology and geographic information systems. Currently, I am a student at MSU pursuing a Masters Degree in Earth Sciences and a Post-Baccalaureate Degree in Secondary Education: Science Broadfield . I have been married to my wife, Hailey, for close to 6 years and have a wonderful three year old daughter named Evelyn.

“For me, I am driven by two main philosophies: know more today about the world than I knew yesterday and lessen the suffering of others. You'd be surprised how far that gets you.”
